Good-Bye, Maple Valley!

Dear Family,

This has been a busy week! We have been running to and fro with our heads cut off trying to prepare for transfers. President and Sister Rasmussen haven't done a transfer, yet, so they totally rely on Elder Palmer and I to work it out. It has been a little stressful, but everything worked out in the end. This morning Elder Palmer and I, accompanied by President and Sister Rasmussen, dropped off the departing missionaries. Always an amazing experience to see the miracles that happen.

I received a call yesterday. I am being transferred. I kind of expected it, having been an office Elder for 6 months. They told me that I am being transferred out of zone and that I will find out where I am going on Monday. Well, I cheated. Elder Palmer and I are the office Elders. We looked on the mission computers on Sunday before they called us. It probably wasn't a good idea because I didn't sleep last night. I am to be transferred to the Federal Way Stake, into the Lakota Creek Ward, as a new District Leader. That last part is what scared me. My first district meeting is just this Wednesday! I need to prepare! Oh, also I will be on bike now! That is good news because I need to lose some weight!

I will do my best to rise to this new challenge. Wish me luck! I love you all! Have a great week!

Love,

Elder Bretton Steiner.
